My interest in the Jaguar marque started about 10 years ago, when I saw a friend's newly refurbished E-type 2+2. My wife and I soon decided to purchase an E-type as fast as possible, and in 1999 we found an affordable 2+2 in Primrose Yellow formerly from California, so no rust.

I refurbished it myself the following year, with a new paint job, new brakes and triple 2in SU conversion etc. During this period we met a lot of other Jaguar owners, of course, and we both fell in love with an open V12 E-type, so a purchase and a sale of the 2+2 was arranged in 2004.

The Danish Jaguar Club was in transformation in 2003-2004 and I suddenly, to my own surprise, found myself as the Chairman of one of the eight regions within this club, which I still am. I earn my living as an officer in the Royal Danish Navy; I was educated as a Marine Engineer and currently holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

So you see, my love with Jaguars and the beautiful E-type in particular is still growing, and when I heard of the E-type

Club being started by Philip there was really no doubt in my mind; I had to join the Club as a member. This has evolved to the point where I now serve as the Club's Danish Representative as well.
