E-type Club Representatives
The Jaguar E-type Club is supported by a dedicated band of volunteer Representatives, who organise events and activities for their area. See the E-type magazine for contact information. They are, naturally, great Jaguar E-type enthusiasts.

Berkshire and Oxfordshire Update

UK – East Midlands 1–3 May 2026 The Donington Historic Festival – The Club will be arranging infield parking for club members. I will be in attendance on Saturday and Sunday. 23 cars attended last year; more would be welcome! Details will be sent out when Donington have finalised the arrangements. 7 June 2026 – Summer Meeting Deene Park, Near Corby. Our Summer Meeting this year will be at the Northamptonshire Classic & Performance Motor show at Deene Park. I have arranged for a dedicated East Midlands E-type Club and XK Club stand. I will send out details on how to book a place in the New Year. Members from all regions will be most welcome. Bring a picnic.
July – Date TBC – The Stilton Cheese Run Our first tulip run will be in the north of our area, winding past the various creameries that make the fabled Stilton cheese. There will be an observation competition. No need to guess what the prize will be.
Late September – End of Season Tulip Run Our second tulip run will be set in the southern part of our area. There will be an observation competition for navigators (optional) Details for the run will be confirmed in the New Year.
UK – Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire region has its annual Dinner on Saturday 7 February 2026. Location – Eckington Manor Hotel, Nr Pershore. £55 per person. Further details and reservations please contact Andrew Turk on 07827 445513.
UK – Sussex 15 March 2026 – Season kick-off. A drive and breakfast to celebrate the day of the E-type launch in 1961, possibly at Leonardslee Gardens, near Horsham.
28 March 2026 – Visit to the premises of CKL Historics in Battle, when Chris Keith-Lucas himself will be hosting us to view his fabulous historic Jaguar, road and racing cars together with a tour of the workshop. Meet at 10.00am. A lunch venue will be arranged with a drive in convoy, following the visit. Please advise Neil of your interest at cllpublications@gmail.com as soon as possible as CKL needs to have an idea of numbers.
Early April 2026 – proposed visit to The Mike Hawthorn Museum near Dorking, Surrey. Date TBA
24 May 2026 – Great British Day Out via Jaguar forums. From Pease Pottage to Denbie’s vineyard, Dorking. Book online via Jaguar forums.
7 June 2026 – Sussex E-type, 65th celebration drive out from multiple start locations. A drive out to a country house hotel with afternoon tea, at The Spread Eagle at Midhurst, West Sussex. Please get in touch to book, as the hotel will need to know numbers. In addition we plan to repeat our successful, mid- week breakfast meeting at The Torque Cafe, near Horsham in April/May 2026.
July 2026 – South Downs ‘Roller Coaster’ drive with multi meeting points, hopefully finishing at Rathfinny winery, Alfriston.
19 July 2026 – The Bromley Pageant, the South’s greatest motoring extravaganza, at The South of England Showground, Ardingly will be on 19 July 2026. We have booked space for 20 E-type club cars. The good news is that the traffic problems will be sorted as ALL gates this year will be accessible! It’s only one day so please don’t miss out.
