E-type Club Weekend
August 12-13

Saturday’s Club Weekend this year takes us back to where it all began, and the hub of Club HQ activity – the scenic setting of Hilltop Farm in glorious Worcestershire.
On the Friday evening (11th) we have arranged an informal supper at the Salwey Arms near Ludlow (SY8 4AL). Please book direct on +44 (0)1584 711510 (own account) and do mention the E-type Club when booking so that we can be seated together where possible.
Join us at Hilltop Farm Club HQ from 11am for tea or coffee, then take the opportunity to chat, meet experts and mingle with special guests, including E-type Club patron and former Director of Design at Jaguar, Ian Callum OBE, acclaimed car designer Professor Peter Stevens and Neville Swales of Building the Legend, who will be bringing one of his fabulous Jaguar re-creations. A hearty barbecue lunch will be served around 1pm in the gardens (weather permitting of course!) and a bar with wine, beer and soft drinks will be serving all day.
At 6pm we will reconvene in the motoring-themed Dutch Barn for a buffet supper. Then it’s time to push back the tables and dance the evening away. Music by established local Jazz, Blues and Rock musician, Remi Harris and his Blue Merlin Blues Band. (Find out more about Remi here: www.remiharris.com).
Then on Sunday finish the weekend with a drive through Shropshire – this will include coffee, a spot of lunch plus– of course – some carefully selected routes to enjoy. We will start and finish our drive from Ludlow Farm Shop (SY8 2JR), where there is ample parking. We will meet there at 10am, then wend our way to Rhayader for coffee, before continuing to our lunch stop.
On your return you can enjoy a visit to the Farm Shop itself, as well as The Artists' Gallery – a showcase of eight local artists, and the Ludlow Plant Centre – a family-run and independent garden centre.
Accommodation is not included in the Weekend so must be booked separately. A list of local accommodation can be found here
Dogs welcome – plenty of space for our canine Club members to exercise.

Liege-Brescia-Liege Rally
July 13-23
Open to all models of E-type and XK for this year only, the rally follows Classic Rally Press's unique and much-loved formula of touring combined with an element of competition that is addictive and huge fun.
If you prefer not to compete, you can enjoy the event as a tour; no special equipment is needed and standard cars often do better than highly-tuned ones. All accommodation and almost all meals, including lunches, are included in the entry fee.

Stunt Driving Day, Prescott
June 14
Join us on Wednesday 14 June for a Stunt Driving Day at the historic Prescott Hill Climb in Gloucestershire. Prescott is situated 5 miles northeast of Cheltenham off the A435 (Evesham Road) between the villages of Gotherington & Gretton.

Classic Nostalgia
XK Club members have been invited to Shelsley Walsh for this historic event. Discounted entry tickets have been arranged, along with designated Club parking/display. Surrey Representative, Patrick Hanratty, is coordinating member attendance, so please let him know once you have booked.
